The Central Park North

Our hotel is an old-school, boutique hotel built at the turn of the last century. The entire hotel evokes what life used to be like in New York and has a 1940s, Jazz, old Harlem atmosphere. Live a bit of the history of NYC when staying with us.

Harlem is one of the most vibrant, colorful and interesting neighborhoods in Manhattan. While you are here, experience the sites, restaurants and neighborhood vibe that makes Harlem one of the most unique areas of NYC. We are only a 5 minute walk from Central Park, one of New York’s defining landmarks. We are just a 2 minute walk from 2 subways – Cathedral Parkway with the B and C trains and Central Park North with the 2 and 3 trains making our location convenient for getting practically anywhere in Manhattan within just a few minutes. The trains located by our building offer connections to most areas of Manhattan including Times Square, the Theater District, Greenwich Village, Soho, Chelsea and more.

Each of our rooms has cable television and high speed WiFi Internet access and most have a work area. Each room comes with air conditioning making it comfortable during any season. Many of our rooms come with kitchenettes and all of the kitchen equipment necessary to make your own meals. Everywhere, the ceilings are high and the colors of the rooms are light allowing our guests to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel is a walk up and has no elevator. All bathrooms are shared with other guests. Guests can use showers and WCs on all floors. Guests can access any of our 4 shared bathrooms and showers located throughout the property.

Reception works 7 days a week from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. A code is used to enter the hotel 24/7. There is also an emergency line for after hours if guests have any issues. Check in can be arranged after hours if agreed upon beforehand.
